GOODWILL SEMI-ANNUAL CLOTHES DRIVE GOING ON NOW!
OIB will have its semi-annual Goodwill Clothes Drive throughout the month of June. Goodwill barrels are located in all of our Northeast and Northwest Branches except the 2 Bastrop locations. Please feel free to bring your gently used clothing and shoes to an OIB branch.
Since 1926, Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana has been selling donated household goods and clothing, in order to fund extensive job training programs and related services. Each year, their programs benefit thousands of people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana currently provides services to 26 parishes in North Louisiana, with retail operations in Shreveport, Bossier City, Minden, Haughton, Natchitoches, Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe, Alexandria and Pineville.
Goodwill turns your jeans into jobs!! Your donations will help provide local jobs and training to people in need and offer environmentally friendly bargains to everyone - all right here in North Louisiana.

12 Tips to Secure Your Mobile Devices
March 6-12 is National Consumer Protection Week
WASHINGTON -- As consumer use of mobile devices continues to climb, cyber criminals are targeting those gadgets more frequently. In recognition of National Consumer Protection Week March 6-12, the American Bankers Association is highlighting 12 things consumers can do to protect the data on their mobile device.
"Banks use sophisticated safeguards to protect customer information, and it's important for consumers to take certain safety measures too," said Doug Johnson, ABA's senior vice president of payments and cybersecurity policy. "Remember that your smart phone or tablet is like a little computer, and any device used to connect to the Internet needs to be protected."
